A special thank-you goes to my mom for first teaching me how to draw at such a young age. I started drawing and learning as many different medias as I could from pastels to paint. Soon, my mom began teaching me how to bake and I quickly became her shadow in the kitchen. I realized that I could expand my creativity into baking. The world of 'creating' became my passion.
Born and raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas, I wanted to pursue a career in graphic design. I went to the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing. I have had my artwork displayed in several exhibits and have won numerous awards.
Currently, I work for Arkansas State Parks as a Commerical Graphic Designer. As an essential team member, I design park exhibits, trailheads, trail waysides and other various projects.
My love for baking has continued as well. When I'm not on my computer designing or creating a pet portrait, I am in the kitchen baking.
